Are you passionate about educating others on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices? MedWorks Inc., is seeking is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Nutritionist to host interactive Lunch and Learn Booths at two divisions of Magna Wellness in Windsor. This role focuses on providing employees with educational resources on sugar consumption, as well as engaging them in a fun and interactive game.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Host Lunch & Learn Booths in the lunchrooms of two divisions located in the Tecumseh area.​

• Roam from table to table during designated lunch times, interacting with employees and answering their questions about nutrition and sugar consumption.

• Provide Educational Resources: Hand out two pre-prepared informational sheets on sugar (provided by Magna Wellness).​

• Lead an Interactive Game: Facilitate a “Find the Hidden Sugar” game where employees guess the amount of sugar in common food items and submit their answers as a ballot for a prize draw.​

• Engage Employees: Foster a friendly, approachable atmosphere where employees feel comfortable discussing their dietary habits and learning about healthier alternatives.

Schedule:

Windsor Modules:

• One-Day Service

  • Day Shift: 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

  • Afternoon Shift: 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM

• Two-Day Service

  • Foam Area:

  • Day Shift: 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

  • Afternoon Shift: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM

  • Night Shift: 3:00 AM to 3:20 AM

• Assembly Area:

  • Day Shift: 10:15 AM to 11:30 AM

  • Afternoon Shift: 6:45 PM to 8:30 PM

 

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Nutritionist with a passion for promoting healthy eating habits.​

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Able to engage employees in casual conversations about nutrition and answer questions in an approachable way.​

• Experience with health education or corporate wellness programs is preferred.​​​

• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate different shifts.
